McDonald’s customers can get free fries this Monday with app bonus - here’s how

The New Year is in full swing, and to keep spirits high, McDonald’s has revealed their top discounts and deals that will keep hungry shoppers happy this Monday. But we’ve worked out a way to maximise the offers to bag extra freebies - which means you could get a free portion of fries, or a hash brown.

The first deal sees customers enjoy a discounted breakfast, with a Single McMuffin reduced to just £1.19 tomorrow (Monday, January 9.)

The app-exclusive deal means fast food fans can choose between sausage or bacon and enjoy it with a free-range egg, a slice of cheese, sandwiched in a toasted English muffin.

What’s more though, is that if you sign up to the MyMcDonald’s Rewards via the app, you can earn double points on any McDelivery order after 11am on Monday only.

Whether you fancy a Big Mac or want to tuck into Chicken McNuggets with a choice of dip, you can bank twice the number of points whilst enjoying your foodie favourites from the comfort of your own home. An obvious win-win.

So where do the free chips come in? Well… If you’ve not previously signed up for MyMcDonald’s rewards, you’re eligible for a sign-up bonus which gives you a whopping 1,000 points just for registering.

There are some amazing rewards available for customers to treat themselves to when point milestones are hit. When customers reach 1,500 points, they can choose between menu items including small fries, a hash brown, or a side salad. With 2,500 points, a double cheeseburger or vegetable deluxe is on the cards. Finally, with 4,000 points, customers can choose between menu favourites like 6 chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac.

The sign up bonus means you’re only 500 points off a free small fries, hash brown or side salad. The scheme means every penny spent equals one Rewards point, so you only need to order something worth £2.50 for McDelivery to have enough points for a freebie on your next visit.

There is also an option for customers to donate the cash equivalent of their rewards points to BBC Children in Need, FareShare and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

All deals are exclusively available on the McDonald’s App and customers can start earning points on all orders by downloading via Google Play or the Apple App Store here , signing up and opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
