McDonald's is launching a special summer menu - and it will introduce four new burgers and halloumi fries. The dishes will start appearing in its fast food joints later this week and include an array of limited edition treats.
The popular fast food chain is set to add four burgers - The Italian Stack (inspired by lasagne), the Crispy Chicken Italiano, The Spanish Stack and The Chicken Fiesta - to its offering over the coming months. There will also be a limited-edition Tiramisu McFlurry and a Spanish Fruit Punch drink on offer - and the much-loved mozzarella dippers will return.
The new offerings will be introduced in two menus - the Taste of Italy Menu which starts on Wednesday (June 8) and will continue until July 26 and the Taste of Spain and Cyprus which will begin on July 27 and run until September 6. The Italian-themed menu will be launching across the UK and Ireland on Wednesday, with the Italian Stack, Crispy Chicken Italiano, Mozzarella dippers and the Tiramisu McFlurry, the Mirror reports.

It is inspired by lasagne and made up of beef patties, slices of mozzarella, crispy onions, a rich tomato sauce, bechamel sauce, and lettuce. It will be served in a toasted tomato and herb bun.
The Crispy Chicken Italiano is made up of a chicken burger, topped with tomato, mozzarella, red onion and lettuce, drizzled in a basil pesto sauce in a toasted ciabatta style bun. And the Tiramisu McFlurry is filled with chocolate flavoured biscuit pieces and a coffee and chocolate sauce.
The other half of the menu is inspired by Spain and Cyprus. The Spanish Stack and the Chicken Fiesta are both served in paprika buns. The Spanish Stack includes two beef patties, chilli cheddar, red onion, lettuce and a spicy tomato bravas style sauce.
And the Chicken Fiesta is filled with crispy chicken, chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, red onion and lettuce. The halloumi fries come in a portion of four, are coated in a light batter and served with a pot of tomato dip.
