McDonald's is to add five new items to its menu next week - including potato waffles. Mini potato waffles will be added to the breakfast menu for the first time.
The waffles will come in a portion of three for £1.39, and you'll be able to order them as part of a breakfast meal from Wednesday, October 19.
At the same time, McDonald's is bringing back the BBQ Bacon Stack for the first time since last summer. The double burger with pepper jack cheese and bacon will replace the Big Tasty burger.
And the new McCrispy chicken burger will be permanently added to the menu as the Chicken Legends are removed.
Two other new additions will be Nacho Cheese wedges - £2.29 for a portion of five or £5.99 for a sharebox - and a Twirl McFlurry.
The cheese wedges will be on the menu from October 26. The limited edition choices will be available for the next six weeks, while the McCrispy is here to stay.
Big Narstie, Olivia Attwood, Keith Lemon and Davide Sanclimenti were spotted amongst the star-studded line-up attending the exclusive McDonald’s McCrispy launch party in Manchester yesterday evening.
The McCrispy is McDonald’s first permanent chicken burger launch since 2007, making it McDonald’s crispiest, crunchiest chicken burger to date.
To celebrate the launch, McDonald’s hosted the Ultimate Gaming Event in Manchester, presented by gaming legends Manny and Elz The Witch. The star-studded event saw a range of A-listers, footballers and gaming talent in attendance, including Love Island favourites.
Amongst those present were: England footballers John Stones and Ella Toone, entertainer Michael Dapaah, Love Island favourites Dami Hope, Toby Aromolaran and DJ-producer Nathan Dawe.
The new burger will be available in all McDonald’s restaurants across the UK & Ireland from Wednesday.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Maya Jama who fronts the upcoming TV campaign said: “I love a chicken burger, and am a self confessed chicken connoisseur, so when I found out Macie’s was launching this new burger, I knew I had to get involved.’
