Concert promoter MCD apologised to Noel Gallagher and his fans after their “premature” Kilmainham concert announcement.
The outdoor gig they promoted earlier this week was said to be taking place on 27 August this year. Tickets were supposed to go on sale this Friday.
“The recent announcement of Noel Gallagher’s 2023 outdoor concert at RHK Dublin was premature,” MCD wrote on their social media. “This early announcement was due to over-enthusiasm on our behalf.”

The concert promoter said they hoped to be “in a position to update [the public] in due course”. The tickets, which were said to be priced €49.90 including booking fees, will not go on sale this week.
