Branches of McColl's across the country have stopped selling alcohol after the chain was taken over by Morrisons.
The convenience store chain with 1,100 branches collapsed into administration and was then taken over by Morrisons after a bidding war between the supermarket and rival EG, reports DevonLive.
A spokesperson for Morrisons said: "With regard to the sale of alcohol, it is something impacting all stores and we are working at pace to apply for all the correct licenses."
