Mobileye Global (MBLY) announced on July 23 that its founder and longtime CEO, Amnon Shashua, plans to step down from the role once a successor is appointed, marking the end of a 27-year tenure at the helm of the Jerusalem-based autonomous driving technology company.
Shashua, who co-founded Mobileye in 1999, will remain on the board of directors and has been offered the position of chairman, though he has not yet made a final decision on whether to accept that role.
