Mayor Of Kingstown season 3 episode 7 opens up on a bus full of young Russian women driving over the Canadian border into the US.
After making it through, one of the passengers, Marya (Casey Schryer), asks for her phone and passport, only to be refused. The next morning they arrive in Kingstown. But as they drive over the bridge into the city, they're stopped by construction workers. Suddenly, a forklift truck hits the van from the side and flips it off the bridge into the water below. As the women trapped inside scream, the van sinks to the bottom.
With Kingstown becoming increasingly dangerous and more innocent people now in harm's way, here's what else happens in Mayor Of Kingstown season 3 episode 7, "Marya Was Here."
Kyle doesn't understand Mike's plan
Mike (Jeremy Renner) drinks at a bar early in the morning, as the KPD SWAT team burst into a Colombian drugs lab and take out three of the dealers. Kyle (Taylor Handley) calls his brother to tell him they completed the task. Kyle warns Mike if Bunny (Tobi Bamtefa) finds out Mike hit his supply then all hell will break loose. Mike says Bunny will adapt.
Kyle admits he's confused about where Mike's loyalties lie, as he's helping the Aryan Brotherhood now after aiding Bunny before. Kyle worries Mike is losing control. But Mike says it's the only way to keep Kingstown balanced.
Later, Evelyn (Necar Zadegan) runs into Kyle. When she learns he is now working for SWAT and Robert (Hamish Allan-Headley), she can't hide her disgust. She tells Kyle to watch his back, warning him that whoever works with Robert usually ends up dead.
Raphael is attacked
The White Knights, aka the Aryan prison guards, bring Raphael (D Smoke) to a hidden location after telling him he's meeting the warden. Instead, a prisoner tries to stab Raphael. But Raphael fights the attacker off and survives.
Still, the White Knights put Raphael in isolation. They warn him that they’re going to attack his wife Roe (Mystie Smith) and kid Trey (Brandon Faison), as they know where they live and where he goes to school.
Carney (Lane Garrison) gets Raphael a burner cell phone. He calls Bunny and tells him the White Knights are threatening Roe and Trey, so he needs Bunny to get them out of Kingstown.
Even Tracy isn't safe
Tracy (Nishi Munshi) cares for Cherry (Natasha Marc) and asks her about the rape that led to her pregnancy. But Cherry refuses to say anything, then gets upset, knowing if she talks she's going to be in danger.
Correctional Officer Will Breen (Matthew Del Negro) leaves work with Tracy. As they walk to their cars, he vaguely threatens her over talking to Cherry. Then when she tries to get in her car, he gets physical with her, telling Tracy he knows she talked to the warden about Cherry's rape. He reminds her of the accident by the river, and tells her to drive safe so she doesn't have the same fate.
At home, an upset Tracey drinks whiskey while cradling her son.
Mike covers up the murders
Iris (Emma Laird) — who has been up all night partying — calls Mike to tell him the women Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen) is bringing to Kingstown haven't arrived yet.
The bus is pulled from the water and the police officers are left in shock at the amount of bodies inside. Mike tells Ian the incident was an accident, but Ian has a lot of evidence that suggests it wasn't, especially since the construction site wasn't even registered with the city. He insists it was mass-murder. Mike knows Ian's right, but to stop more bloodshed in the city he has to hide that news for now.
Evelyn tells Mike none of the victims were over 18. She's upset that Mike is hiding that they were murdered. Mike says he needs time to get the girls justice, insisting he's going to find out who did this and that whoever is responsible will never see a judge.
Who killed the girls?
Ian and Mike speculate over who killed the bus full of Konstantin's girls. Top of Ian's list is Bunny, especially as he's keeping such a low profile. Mike doesn't see it, as Bunny doesn't kill innocent people. But Ian reminds him he's still a psychopath. Eventually Mike can't help but wonder if he has a blindspot for Bunny.
After watching Bunny leave a funeral, Mike follows him. Bunny meets with Cole (Patrick Cage), who shows off the new weapons that have arrived. When Mike drives inside Bunny asks why he shouldn't just kill him right there. Bunny is livid Mike is asking for so much and giving so little back. He didn't even tell Bunny that the Soviets and Aryans are working together. Mike says he's handling that, convincing the Soviets and Aryans there's enough to go around. He tells Bunny he's even been balancing the scales in Bunny's favor. But Bunny reminds Mike his family is getting killed. He tells Mike he's done and he's going to go to war with everyone.
Mike asks Bunny if he was responsible for killing Konstantin's girls. Bunny is offended to even be asked and tells Mike to leave. Bunny tells Mike he's turning his back on him and the next time their paths cross, only one of them will survive.
