Maya Jama has left fans wondering about her relationship status as she shared a few quotes about cheating to her Instagram account.
It came just days after she was spotted with ex-boyfriend Stormzy, with it being alleged that the rapper had been unfaithful to the TV presenter, which caused their four-year relationship to end back in 2019.
Maya, 28, took to Instagram stories, where she posted lyrics to Bun Fi Bun by IQ and Stefflon Don: “Hmm scratch mixed it / When your man Is cheating / You call on me / When your man Is cheating / Baby come u can f*ck pon him / U no fi keep it a secret / Make him no seh ah mi your f*cking / When him here seh him best friend.”
A sample of the song played in the background as Maya wrote: “This song has me in a chokehold (laughing face emoji) only Jamaicans can make these lyrics sound romantic.”
She also uploaded another quote separately, which read: “In life you have 2 choices. U can lean wit it or U can rock wit it.”
It comes amid rumours that Maya rekindled her romance with Stormzy, after the pair were seen together at the GQ Men of the Year 2022 awards in London last week. Guests including Kit Connor, Sebastian Croft, John Boyega, Salma Hayek and Rochelle Humes claimed they saw the couple together. Maya and Stormzy were reportedly chatting together in a quiet corner, before they left the event separately, just moments apart.
However, Maya’s team have confirmed to The Mirror that the former couple are not romantically together.
The grime artist opened up to Louis Theroux only last month about his split from Maya, calling it his "biggest mistake".
He said: "My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man.
"It was like, OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you.
"That's probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn't it? Away from someone passing away, that's the biggest loss you can have."
Since Stormzy and Maya’s split, the latter went on to have a long-distance relationship with NBA player Ben Simmons. The pair got engaged last December, before splitting up in July this year.
