Maya Jama has broken her silence on "silly" rumours that she is dating Leonardo DiCaprio, saying that people should "move on". It was reported last week that the Bristolian bombshell, 28, was coupled up with Hollywood actor Leo, 48, after partying with him on several occasions having been introduced by mutual friends.
The pair were papped living it up in London on two consecutive nights back in February, before meeting up again in Paris in early March, where they were spotted leaving bar Le Piaf. It was alleged that Maya made time for Leo during a work trip to New York in late March, with the Titanic actor sending her a big bouquet of red roses.
Fans thought that Maya was adding fuel to the relationship rumour fire over the Easter weekend, due to her jewellery choice. In a post to her Instagram story, the former Radio 1 DJ was rocking a simple gold chain with "Leo" on it, with some wondering whether the pendant alluded to her supposed new flame.

But now, after much speculation, Maya has finally shut down rumours that she and Leo are an item. Her side of the story comes after Leo reportedly "denied" that they were together last week.
Quoting a story published by MailOnline about the necklace, Maya wrote on Twitter: "I've been minding my business on holiday & said I wouldn't respond/pay attention to any of the silly stories anymore but you need to stop now, that is literally my star sign.
"We are not dating. Move on please."
A fan then pointed out the tweet from MailOnline had received "five likes", questioning why she replied to it. "They been dragging the story for the past week," Maya responded with a laughing emoji. "This was my last straw."
At the end of last year, it was speculated that Maya had rekindled her romance with rapper Stormzy after the pair were spotted at the same events. These rumours were later denied by Maya's people, but sleuthing fans claimed that one of Stormzy's releases at the time, "Firebabe", was about Maya, as Leo is a fire sign.
