After a bizarre revelation in last night's Love Island that one contestant won't date girls with feet bigger than a size five, fans have been quick to call out the strange requirement that would rule out presenter Maya Jama.
The Bristol-born presenter stole the show during the series nine premiere on ITV yesterday with viewers blown away by Maya's entrance. But also causing a stir online was Haris Namani, 21, who revealed his specific foot size rule when it comes to dating.
Maya sat down for a chat with the male islanders before meeting the girls to question them about what they're looking for. TV salesman Haris's answer seemed to confuse Maya as much as the rest of us.

Appearing taken aback, Maya said: "I'm out of limits. I'm size six and a half. It's not going to happen. You can't be that strict down to the foot size."
As viewers obsessed over Maya's first appearance, they could not believe the weird rule that would suggest boxer Haris would turn the ex-Radio 1 presenter down.
Along with a photo of ex-islander Molly-Mae laughing hysterically, one person said: "Imagine turning down Maya Jama the most beautiful woman in the UK because she doesn’t have child size feet #LoveIsland".
Another said: "Telling Maya Jama she’s off limits for 6.5 feet hahahahahaha boy please".
One viewer called the 21-year-old a 'blundering fool' and said: "Literally who would turn down Maya Jama because of the size of her feet?! #LoveIsland".
A fellow fan agreed: "Imagine ruling out women like maya jama cos ur weird about feet, ick #LoveIsland"
Before the show, Maya revealed her nerves for her Love Island on-screen debut as she shared a post to Instagram saying how she hoped "to make fans proud". Looking at the reaction on social media, it seems she did that on more as viewers even said they prefer her to this year's line-up.
One person said: "Thank you ITV for choosing @MayaJama". While another said: "Much love and respect to these girls you know bc if I walk out there and I'm stood next to Maya Jama I'm asking the producers for a refund #LoveIsland".
Another fan tweeted: "I dunno if I'm not impressed this year or if Maya Jama is just the best person on the whole show #LoveIsland".
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 when we will see more of first bombshell, semi-professional footballer Tom Clare.
