Love Island's new host Maya Jama took to Instagram yesterday to ask her followers for style advice. She posted a question on her story asking “what hair look for first episode?”.
Maya talked about what sort of options she was thinking of before opening the floor to her followers for comment. One comment she showed suggested “long curly! Classic Maya,” while another took a more jokey approach to their response “R9 World Cup trim.”

The 2023 winter season of Love Island is being filmed in South Africa in the Franschhoek wine valley. Temperatures will be scorching - something that could cause some hairstyle problems.
On her story, Maya pointed out that she thinks a straight-haired look could have a few issues, “if it’s 30, 40 degrees or however hot it is right now and the camera goes on my face, I’ve just got a curly fringe and just a wet face.”
