Maya Henry 'in shock' over Liam Payne's death

Maya Henry is in shock over Liam Payne's death

Liam Payne's former fiancee is "in shock" following his tragic death.

The former One Direction singer passed away on Wednesday (16.10.24) after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Maya Henry - who he split from in May 2022 after a three-year on/off romance - was left stunned by the news.

Her representative told DailyMail.com: "She is understandably in shock."

Just days before Liam's death, Maya claimed the 'Strip That Down' hitmaker had predicted his early death and warned he needed "help".

She said on the 'Internet is Dead' podcast: "There was one time I tried to get him help, but he was not taking it.

"He would always message me after we broke up, he would say, 'I'm not well'.

"He would always play with death, and be like 'well I'm going to die, I'm not doing well'.

"I know the lifestyle that he lives and there is a day that something is going to happen.

"So I would always be like, OK, he's saying these things, I am going to have to help him because I am not going to be able to live with myself if something happens to him."

The 23-year-old model had instructed her legal team to send a cease and desist letter to her former fiance earlier this week after she accused him of repeatedly contacting her and her friends.

Her spokesperson told The Sun newspaper in a statement: “Maya Henry issued a cease and desist last week to Liam Payne following the emergence of new and concerning information.

“She has retained attorneys Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna to represent her. At this time, that is her only comment on the matter.”

The legal move came after Maya accused Liam - who had seven-year-old son Bear with former partner Cheryl Tweedy - of bombarding her with calls and messages from different numbers.

She said on TikTok: “Ever since we broke up he will blow up my phone.

“It’s always from different phone numbers too so I never know where it is going to come from.

“He will create new icloud accounts to iMessage me. It’s always a damn new iCloud account. Each time I see a new one pop up on my phone I’m like ‘oh here we go again’.

“He will also email me.

“There is no right and wrong time to speak out on these topics.

"It’s disturbing that this man is still doing these things to me.

"I am disgusted by this diabolical behaviour. This is beyond disgusting and flabbergasting to say the least."
