Max Wober says fighting for survival is unfamiliar territory for him, and has likened the relegation battle to a 'matter of life and death'.
Leeds United climbed out of the relegation zone and into 14th place after defeating Wolves 4-2 at Molineux on Saturday. Javi Gracia's side head into the international break sitting two points clear of the bottom three, with the Spaniard collecting seven points from his first four league games.
Wober was signed by Jesse Marsch in January, after previously playing under the American at Red Bull Salzburg. However, the Austrian international has remained a focal point in the side since Marsch's sacking and has formed a promising partnership with Robin Koch in recent weeks.

The 25-year-old has been accustomed to challenging for titles in the Austrian Bundesliga, but is ready for the battle at the bottom end of the Premier League.
"I've never been allowed to take part in the relegation battle," Wober told reporters via Austrian outlet Der Standard.
"It would be more comfortable to be seventh or eighth, but you have to face this task with confidence. It's a matter of life and death on the field."
