Former Soccer AM presenter Max Rushden was the butt of many jokes on Irish Twitter after revealing he had left his guitar in a Dublin taxi yesterday.
He tweeted: “Very much hoping the Dublin taxi driver who dropped me at the hotel takes good care of the guitar I left on the back seat.”
But the funny people of Dublin only had sarcastic comments in return with one saying: “He may return it - but there could be strings attached” and another added: “Found it on Rory Gallagher corner”.

Someone posted an online advertisement for a guitar in the Dublin area, insinuating that the taxi driver put it up for sale. Another said: “You looked on Facebook Marketplace?”
A third commented: “Very generous tip Max, fair play”, while a fourth replied: “Check Grafton St. He's probably playing it there”.
Someone else said: “We have all heard you sing, it's for the best” and a final added: “If you can afford a Dublin hotel then coughing up for a new guitar will be pocket change.”
