Max George had a powerful message for Tom Parker after he achieved his aim of making it on stage with The Wanted on their reunion tour.
On Wednesday afternoon it was confirmed by his wife Kelsey that Tom had died, aged just 33, having been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 20320. Breaking the tragic news, Kelsey told The Sun said: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side.
"Our hearts are broken. Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.
"We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children."

Tom missed the first few shows of The Wanted's arena tour as he was in Spain receiving cancer treatment but, after breaking the sad news he'd miss shows in the likes of Glasgow, Newcastle and Leeds, Tom vowed to join the tour before it ended. And he kept his promise as he appeared on stage alongside Max and fellow The Wanted bandmates Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuinness and Siva Kaneswaran at a number of dates, including the moving final show in Liverpool less than a fortnight ago.
After the gig, Max took to Instagram to post a shot of the group with Tom in the middle and wrote: "We did it. @tomparkerofficial.. YOU did it! All I can say in words is thank you for making such beautiful memories over the last few weeks.
"I love every single one of you who stuck with us. May our hearts be full, like our drinks tonight, may we sing and dance til’ we lose our minds, we are only young if we seize the night, tonight we own the night. This is not the end…"
One of the gigs Tom missed was in Newcastle but, while he wasn't there, his presence was definitely felt as the group paused the concert to pay tribute to him. As you can see in the video above, the mere mention of Tom's name prompted cheers and applause to echo right round the Utilita Arena.
