Max George's injury on first episode of ITV's The Games leaves fans concerned

An injury to Max George in the opening episode of ITV's The Games left fans concerned for The Wanted star on Monday.

The 33-year old was seen clutching his leg and being supported by co-stars after finishing in last place in the men's 400m.

After Wes Nelson was declared the winner, with Harry Potter actor Josh Herdman taking second place and former Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton third, the show's commentator said: "At the back, limping over the line carrying an injury, Max George."
