The Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift storyline has now bled into the NBA.
While appearing on ESPN’s First Take on Thursday, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban took his shot and made a pitch to the international pop star on behalf of his players and the Dallas economy.
“She impacts economies when she brings her tour to a city,” Cuban said of Swift. “She’s literally the most popular artist on the planet right now—not even close. So, what I’m gonna tell you, Taylor, if you’re listening, sorry Travis: break up with him. I got a bunch of good looking single guys that play for the Dallas Mavericks. I got you.”

The massive sports and pop culture storyline all started when Swift attended a Chiefs game this past weekend after it has been widely rumored that her and Kelce are dating. The All-Pro tight eventually addressed the situation on his New Heights podcast this week, where he didn’t confirm a relationship but said he’d respect her privacy, leading fans to believe he’s done talking about the matter.
But that didn’t last long. He quickly responded to Cuban on X, formerly known as Twitter, with his own request for the NBA owner.
“Just sign me to a ten day!” Kelce wrote in response to the video of Cuban.
Swift is reportedly expected to attend the Chiefs’ upcoming game against the Jets this weekend on Sunday Night Football, leading many to believe this story isn’t going away anytime soon.
