Mauricio Umansky, star of Buying Beverly Hills, recently addressed his departure from Rick Hilton's Hilton & Hyland to start his own real estate company, The Agency. In a preview for the upcoming season of the show, Umansky revealed that he felt he was not given the partnership he deserved at Hilton & Hyland, leading him to make the decision to strike out on his own in 2011.
Umansky emphasized that his choice to leave was purely a business decision and that there is no animosity on his part towards the Hilton family. He explained that he wanted to secure his family's future and pursue his own success, which ultimately led him to establish The Agency.
