Mauricio Pochettino remains one of the leading contenders for the Manchester United job, and he is expected to push for the club to sign Harry Kane if he takes over at Old Trafford.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Pochettino led Spurs to the Champions League final with Kane in attack, as well as securing multiple top-four finishes in the Premier League, and new reports suggest a reunion could be on the cards.
With United looking at several managerial options, including Spain boss Luis Enrique, there is no guarantee of Pochettino taking over when interim boss Ralf Rangnick leaves his role at the end of the season.
