Mauricio Pochettino has $62m Chelsea transfer he can't refuse as mind-blowing Neymar offer made

Welcome to the football.london transfer briefing. To help you keep on top of all things Chelsea going on in the market we've got the latest noises coming from social media, journalists and so-called ITKs, rounding up what's what in the world of the Blues.

Goalkeeper targets identified

Chelsea have reportedly sounded out Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana and AC Milan's No1 Mike Maignan as the their preferred choices to become Mauricio Pochettino's first choice. With Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalga both potential candidates to leave and the position being one of three key areas to reinforce, the Blues have sorted their priorities.

Onana was impressive for Inter in the Champions League final and is said to be available for around £50 million ($62.9m), Maignan may be around the same price but football.london believes it would be a harder deal to sanction. Mendy is open to being sold but a move for Kepa is more unlikely due to his large wage demands.

football.london says: The goalkeeping situation is one that is of extreme importance this summer for Chelsea and there's no way they can afford to enter the season with Kepa or Mendy as the first choice, contrary to the report that states they would be willing to allow it should Pochettino grant it.

Onana is a standout option due to previous interest in the player but Maignan has been a colossus for Milan this year as well. Either player would be a massive upgrade and provide much certainty in a position that has been shaky for over 12 months now.

The price tag isn't an issue here. Chelsea are investing in a 'keeper for five years at least and both options are 27 and have plenty of football ahead of them. They could certainly have chosen worse duos to narrow their search down to.

Neymar offer from Saudi Arabia

Neymar is open to leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer and the French champions would be happy to sell him if an acceptable offer game in, CBS report. With Chelsea interested in making the Brazilian a statement addition to their squad, there are said to be enquiries from Saudi Arabia as Al-Hilal look to make ammends for missing out on Lionel Messi.

The Argentine star will leave PSG at the end of this month but won't be headed for the Middle East to draw in £950m ($1.2 billion) over his contract like first thought. He is headed to MLS, leaving Neymar with more chance of moving to the Saudi Pro League and Chelsea with neither globetrotter at Stamford Bridge.

football.london says: Was there really much chance that a side needing a financial boost rather than blow were going to sanction anywhere near the $223m PSG would be keen on bringing in to get some sort of return on Neymar? It doesn't seem like it but when Todd Boehly is at the table there are no certainties.

Roman Abramovich's Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar pipe dream has re-awoken with Boehly and even a restructured wage model might not stop him attempting to land these crazy deals. Neymar to Saudi Arabia and Riyadh makes much more sense than a final chapter in England, that's for sure.
