The 1975 frontman Matty Healy's controversial comments about his recent porn habits have resurfaced amid his romance with Taylor Swift.
The musicians, who are rumoured to be dating, have been hitting headlines in recent weeks after Taylor's split from Joe Alwyn.
Matty, 34, and Taylor, 33, are said to be "madly in love" months after her recent split.
However, their reported romance hasn't gone down well with people as a few of Matty's past comments have been resurfacing.
In February, he appeared on The Adam Friedland Show podcast and talked about the time he masturbated to porn of 'brutalised' women after a party.
The host and his co-host Nick Mullen discussed a moment when Adam and a woman walked in on the Somebody Else singer masturbating to 'hardcore pornography'.
According to them, the pornography - which was on his large-screen TV - was on '30 seconds' after they departed a party at the singer's house.
They said he was watching a porn site called Ghetto Gaggers - which is known for clips featuring the humiliation and brutalization of mostly Black women.
The group returned to the house when the woman remembered she left her water bottle.
"It wasn't just the— it was the combination of the fact that it was, you're not exaggerating, it was 30 seconds. Like, you guys were still waiting outside, she came back in, I was already flustered," Matty said.
"I was, like, dressed as 'guy who is jacking off,' so I had, like, untucked shirt.
"Like you said, I think it literally was, like, Ghetto Gaggers was on the TV. It's just somebody just getting, like, brutalized."
After the clip recirculated online, fans rushed to slam the singer as well as Taylor's reported romance with him.
"This whole thing is making me lose respect for Taylor," a Reddit user commented.
Another posted: "Seriously, it feels like she's TRYING to get cancelled again."
"How is she okay with this?" one concerned user asked.
Mirror have contacted Matty's representatives for comment.
Taylor and Matty go way back and first sparked relationship rumours back in November 2014 when she attended the 1975 frontman's concert in LA.
Matty later revealed that they had "swapped phone numbers" at the show during a radio interview with Australia’s Shazam Top 20.
“I mean, bloody hell, what am I going to do? Go out with Taylor Swift? She’s a sensation,” he said at the time. “I wouldn’t say no!”
