It's been all go for Matty Healy lately. His relationship with Taylor Swift has come to an end, The 1975 are in the midst of an extensive summer tour and he's had to deal with an unfamiliar level of press coverage.
Matty and his bandmates took to the stage in Dublin's St Anne's Park last night for the latest stop on The 1975's European tour and the frontman was in typical, headline-grabbing form.
Due to the support act, Caroline Polachek, falling ill shortly before the show, Matty treated fans to a short acoustic set of his own before delivering the full 1975 experience; complete with the usual theatrics, cryptic messages and contrived chaos in between songs.

At one stage, Matty made reference to rock royalty when he revealed Coldplay’s Chris Martin and U2's Bono had been remarkably supportive in recent weeks, sending him nice messages and thoughtful gifts.
Then came the mention of Noel Gallagher, the former Oasis star who has made no secret of his unfavourable opinion of Matty and his group.
Matty told the thousands in attendance: "Noel Gallagher called me a ‘slack-jawed f*ckwit'. I love Noel Gallagher. We asked Liam to open up and he said he would have done it but he was busy. But I love Noel Gallagher, give it up for Noel Gallagher!"
He continued: "He’s just getting on… The difference between me and Noel is that I do a series of interviews to promote an album, whereas he does an album to promote a series of interviews. But we love you Noel, get Oasis back together!"
The unlikely beef between Matty and Noel stemmed from an interview the latter took part in last month, in which the 56-year-old branded The 1975 singer "a slack-jawed f*ckwit" in a no-nonsense retort to Matty's previous claims that Noel and his brother Liam should put their issues to one side and reunite Oasis.
Noel also revealed his reaction to The 1975 winning in the Best Rock category at the BRIT Awards.
Noel told NME: "I was watching it with my kids, two teenage lads, thinking, ‘Is it me being a grumpy old man, or is this sh*t?’ They were both going, ‘Oh no, this is f*cking sh*t’. The 1975, Best Rock Band? Someone needs to re-define that immediately, because that is… I don’t know what that is, but it’s certainly not f*cking rock. Whatever rock is, that’s not it."
The 1975 are back on Irish soil next week, when they play Cork's Musgrave Park, so Irish fans don't have too long to wait to see if there's any more legs in this particular rock feud.
