Matty Healy 's bandmates seemingly weren't in the mood for one of the singer's speeches during a recent gig.
The 1975 frontman, 33, is famous for his stage antics while on tour with The 1975 - with Denise Welch's eldest son previously age-checking fans in the audience before kissing them and eating raw meat inbetween belting out hit songs.
But it appears Matty wanted to speak to his fans about an important issue during a gig in Leeds earlier this week.
Dressed in in an all-black ensemble, the singer held his guitar as he told the crowd at Leeds First Direct Arena: "I don't think it's a racist thing to say..."
Matty's bandmates then started playing the intro to It's Not Living (If It's Not With You) - causing Matty to say "oh for f*** sake" and begin performing his band's anthem.
"Not Ross censoring him," one fan of The 1975 commented on TikTok, as a clip of the moment went viral.
"The boys want their paychecks before matty gets them cancelled," another quipped, as a third added: "This is the best PR move I’ve ever seen."
One eagle-eyed fan commented: "The way he keeps mouthing, 'I was going to say something NOT racist'."
Another TikTok user referenced Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's famous interview with Oprah Winfrey, writing: "WERE YOU SILENT OR WERE YOU SILENCED???"
Elsewhere in Leeds on Monday night, Matty was in a mischievous mood, as he chewed on a huge slab of raw meat.
Leeds Live reviewer Alex Grove was in the crowd covering the concert and managed to capture the star stopping his performance to feast on his odd 'treat'.
"Mum asked me how was the show last night…how do I tell her I saw matty Healy eat raw meat, touch himself and get wine drunk on stage without sounding like a psycho," one fan quipped on Twitter after The 1975 gig on Monday.
"I wish I was a piece of raw meat right now," another concert-goer mused online during the show, with a third adding: "just saw matty healy eat raw meat on stage and quite frankly i have never ever been happier."
Matty is the eldest child of former couple Denise and Tim Healy, with the two stars also welcoming his brother Louis into the world before announcing their split live on Loose Women in 2012.
The 1975 singer played his first ever gig at his dad's event Tim Healy's Charity Golf Classic in 2001.
As a debate about 'nepo babies' kicked off on social media last year, Matty and his parents waded into the discussion and gave their thoughts on nepotism in the entertainment industry.
I made a joke that I drew the short straw at the nepotism baby nursery because there's so many famous kids out there," Matty told Apple Music's Zane Lowe.
"The nepotism baby concept is interesting though, isn't it? Because it seems to be something that people talk about when they're a little bit jealous."
