Chandler Jones is one of the best free agents on the market in Day 3 of free agency.
The 32-year-old is still near the top of his game and he’s coming off a Pro Bowl season with the Arizona Cardinals. Jones recorded 10.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, 26 quarterback hits and six forced fumbles. Due to his age, he will also be slightly cheaper than he was on previous contracts.
Jones played his first four years with the New England Patriots and he’s a perfect fit to rejoin the team. Matthew Judon understands the dynamic duo they could be and he made sure to voice that understanding with a quick message on Twitter.

Devin McCourty, who just re-signed with the team, and Kendrick Bourne were on board with Jones coming back to New England.

The Patriots cleared up cap space by releasing Kyle Van Noy and training Shaq Mason — so, picking up a free agent like Jones isn’t out of the realm of possibility.
