With the 2021/22 season fast approaching its conclusion, the Arsenal players out on loan will soon find out what the future holds as some big decisions will be made in the coming weeks.
Of the 23, football.london understands Matteo Guendouzi and Konstantinos Mavropanos will not be returning this summer having agreed to join Marseille and Stuttgart on permanent deals respectively. Meanwhile, Lucas Torreira is expected to seal a move to Fiorentina and there are more deals in the pipeline.
But for the rest - aside from Harry Clarke who is on loan at Hibernian until the end of next season - time is running out to prove they can either be part of Mikel Arteta's plans for the 2022/23 campaign or place themselves in the shop window for a permanent move elsewhere in the summer.

So how exactly have the Arsenal loanees fared over the past week? football.london takes a look at those in action outside of England with games in the Football League to be played over the Bank Holiday.
It has been another good week for Reiss Nelson at Feyenoord. Having sent Arteta a timely reminder about potentially saving millions of pounds this summer, he helped the Dutch side overcome Slavia Prague last Thursday to reach the Europa Conference League semi-final where a mini-reunion with William Saliba, Guendouzi and Sead Kolasinac lay in wait.
The former pair were also in action on Sunday night for Marseille in the 'Le Classique' away from home against Paris Saint-Germain where the hosts emerged 2-1 winners in a game that saw tempers flare up in the second half as Neymar was enraged by Guendouzi who appeared to go down easily after minimal contact from the Brazilian.
Saliba thought he had rescued a point for the visitors after turning Dimitri Payet's free-kick home, but his goal celebrations were immediately cut short with VAR intervening to rule his effort out for offside. This came amid fresh quotes from the Frenchman regarding his future.
"There is always a chance," he said in an interview after being asked whether he will stay at Marseille next season. "I do not hide that I am very happy in Marseille. I have developed, I have passed a milestone. If I make it into France’s squad it’s thanks to Marseille, because there is a lot of visibility. They are a very big club with a lot of pressure, but when you’re good there are a lot of good things that happen to you. We will see in May or June depending on the discussions. Today, my future, I don’t know what it is."
Over in Italy, Torreira's good form continued as he scored the only goal in Fiorentina's 1-0 win over Venezia, Pablo Mari starred in Udinese's 4-1 win over Empoli and Ainsley Maitland-Niles could be in action for AS Roma away at Napoli on Monday evening.
Mavropanos played the full 90 minutes and helped Stuttgart keep a clean sheet against Mainz, Alex Runarsson may have already played his final game for OH Leuven as their season has concluded as the Belgian side are struggling to raise funds to sign the goalkeeper permanently.
Hector Bellerin was in the Real Betis side that drew 0-0 with Real Sociedad last Friday night, whilst January transfer deadline day signing Auston Trusty was in the Colorado Rapids side that were beaten 3-1 by Minnesota and have now gone four MLS games without a win.
