Celebrity crocodile wrangler Matt Wright will be required to give authorities 24 hours' notice to fly out of Queensland after his bail conditions were varied in the Darwin Local Court on Thursday morning.
In November, the 43-year-old was charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, destruction of evidence, fabricating evidence, interfering with witnesses and two counts of unlawful entry.
The charges relate to an investigation into a helicopter crash in February which killed Chris "Willow" Wilson and injured the pilot Sebastian Robinson.
Mr Wright was not onboard the helicopter when it crashed in a remote part of west Arnhem Land during an operation to collect crocodile eggs.
After being charged, a spokesman for Mr Wright said he "strenuously denies" any wrongdoing in relation to the crash.
Mr Wright is the star of the Netflix reality show Wild Croc Territory and National Geographic series Outback Wrangler.
At his initial bail hearing last month, the court allowed Mr Wright to return to Queensland until his next court appearance in January, on the condition he provide a surety of $20,000.
He was also barred from contacting 50 people, including former police officer Neil Mellon and pilot Michael Burbidge, who are facing separate charges as part of the same investigation.
The list also included members of Mr Wilson's family, including his widow.
On Thursday, the defence sought to remove two people from the list: Tim Johnston and Rowan Sutton.
Meanwhile, the prosecution applied to add a condition that he give notice to leave Queensland at least 24 hours before departing for the next three months.
The changes were consented to by both the prosecution and the defence.
Mr Wright's case is due back in court on January 25.
