Frank McAvennie reckons Matt O'Riley will be at Celtic for at least another year as he pinpointed a potential weakness in his game for England at this stage.
Ange Postecoglou swopped to land the midfielder last January in a £1.5million deal from MK Dons and he has since gone from strength to strength in Glasgow and quickly established himself as a key man for the Scottish champions. His form has been recognised at Under-21 level for Denmark with hopes of a senior call-up in the near future.
The likes of Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the 21-year-old - who has featured 16 times in all competitions so far for Celtic this campaign - as have Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Newcastle United. He's picked up experience at the top level in the Champions League and won a league winners' medal last season as he helped the Hoops reclaim the title from rivals Rangers.

Speculation over the future of O'Riley remains with a number of English Premier League suitors but McAvennie reckons he is loving life at Parkhead and will remain just now as he questioned why he would want to move to a bottom half team in England.
Speaking to Football Insider, he said: "Listen, nobody noticed him [at MK Dons] and then Ange noticed him.
“His idea of a player is different to everyone else’s. I do not know if O’Riley has got the pace for English football now. I think he is quick but the pace in England is frightening.
"I do not know if he would want to leave at the moment. I think he is really enjoying it, his family are Celtic supporters.
“Why would you want to go down to a team in the bottom half of England? He has just arrived really. I am not too concerned about him. I think they will get another year out of him.“
