Matt O'Riley explains Celtic set piece ritual eagled eyed fan spotted as he reveals his rock side

Chilled out Matt O'Riley has revealed his heavier side as he uses rock heavyweights AC/DC and Aerosmith to get him rolling en route to Lennoxtown.

But the potential Danish international admits he balances it out by indulging in a spot of meditating as he searches for zen amid the push for Scottish Premiership glory.

O'Riley has made a telling impact since arriving at Celtic from MK Dons in a £1.5m January deal with his ability in the final third clear for all to see.

The 21-year-old has been taking part in a social media question and answer session where he revealed his many interests away from starring under Ange Postecoglou.

Speaking to the club's Twitter account, he said: “I meditate a lot - sometimes using different types of apps, depending on how I'm feeling on the day.

"I'll go for a walk around the park just to chill out and whenever it's golf season, I'll definitely pick that up again.”

But O'Riley reckons his musical preferences may not what people expect from someone born in the 21st century.

He added: “This might surprise people... but Aerosmith and AC/DC are definitely my top two. Those two are the most likely to be on in my car on the way to training.”

And one eagle eyed fan quizzed O'Riley on the reason behind why he picks up a piece of grass before every set piece he takes.

He answered: “It's actually to do with the wind. I'm always curious to see what's going on with it because it can change a lot during the game. It helps me figure out where I want to put it.”
