Matt Lucas has taken a savage dig at some of his ex co-stars as he spoke about working in a 'toxic' environment.
The Little Britain star, 48, who became a household name following the BBC sketch comedy, has worked on countless shows alongside a stellar acting career on the stage.
His telly hits include Shooting Stars, Come Fly With Me, Pompidou and Doctor Who and his stage highlights include Taboo, Prick Up Your Ears, Les Misérables and Me and My Girl.
While not naming the show in question, the comedian opened up about his 'terrible' experience, revealing he would countdown the days until filming ended
The former Bake Off host shared: "I do take jobs and not enjoy them. They were jobs I thought I would enjoy but maybe they weren’t that much fun. You only need a couple that are not good people and you can have a terrible, terrible vibe.
"I did one show where there were two or three not good people in it. The vibe was toxic."
But rather than pull the plug on his job he forged a ritual with a fellow co-worker where they would use a hidden 'countdown' chart to tick off the days and celebrate the filming was ending.
He added: "No one knew it was there except the sound person. He hated it as well because of the behaviour of a few people."
Matt has recently shocked fans with his notably slimmer figure, despite being surrounded by cakes and sweet treats on Channel 4's Great British Bake Off.
The comedian switched up his diet and lifestyle after piling on the pounds in lockdown.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly about his future goals recently, he said: "The one thing I need to do is get fitter, I have put on a little bit of weight, that's my next challenge to do a bit more exercise.
"I might have to make a game of it when I go out and exercise to stay out of people's way. I don't have a garden so I have to find a way to do that."
But Matt has also spoken openly about being what he called 'thin shamming' by a fan when he watched a football match.
Taking to Twitter after a Arsenal game, Matt posted: "Shout out to the lady who stopped me at football today to ask me why I've lost weight and to inform me I look a lot older.
"For the first time in my life, I think i've just been thin-shamed."
