Matt Hancock has made it to the final four contestants of I'm A Celebrity 2022.
Despite all the odds against him, the disgraced MP has beaten huge stars to the poll including Boy George and Chris Moyles, and following Seann Walsh's unexpected exit on Friday night, Hancock is set to take on the famous Cyclone challenge.
During Friday's instalment of the ITV show, comedian Seann, 36, became the seventh star to be eliminated from the jungle as the grand finale on Sunday inches ever closer.
As the result came in, Seann said his goodbyes, after Hancock expressed his surprise at remaining in the competition.
During his leaving interview with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, comedian Seann revealed what it was like entering camp with Hancock, saying how the former Health Secretary proved him wrong as he initially thought the MP would be the first to go.
Seann said: "I'll be honest with you, when I saw Matt I thought 'maybe you're not going out first'. But he was lovely, and he's still there for a reason. He was a lovely guy."
Hancock has confessed that he never thought he'd make it in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
The politician, 44, shocked the nation with his arrival into the Australian jungle, and while his controversial participation in the ITV show started off with much criticism, he has clearly won over I'm A Celebrity fans as he's made it to the final four.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph on Friday night ahead of Seann's exit, Matt said: “We’re so near the end and I’m delighted to be still here.
"I never thought I’d make it to the final 5 and here I am, so I’m very grateful.”
While I'm A Celebrity viewers are clearly loving watching Hancock in the jungle, his former campmate Chris Moyles isn't happy that the disgraced politician is still in there.
After leaving the show, Chris blasted MP Hancock as he unleashed his true feelings - branding him 'fake' and saying he should be working and not in the jungle.
In his first in-depth interview since leaving the I'm A Celebrity camp, radio DJ Moyles let rip regarding Hancock and ITV's decision to let him appear on the show despite being a working MP.
Moyles told Radio X: "I don't know what's been in the show....I was venting quite a lot when he first came in. Because, well, I'll just say he should be at work, because he's an MP and he's paid to look after people and their interests and hopefully make their lives better.
"And I don't know how he does that by going on the jungle show. And then there was a moment when we got into a conversation about him and it got quite tense, which I accidentally started by being a smartass and going 'so when did you book out' and he went next month and I didn't know he had a book out.
"And the reason I got I got annoyed with him was because Seann did something in his personal life that got thrown all over the newspapers and didn't impact my life whatsoever, has had a really, really hard time career wise, and mental health wise since.
"He was very open about it, and has come on the show to basically to say I'm really not a bad guy, can I start again. Which is really honest and takes a lot of balls.
"And Matt Hancock kind of dived around a few questions I thought, and then said, I guess all I'm just asking for is forgiveness. And at which point I had to walk out of camp and just get away because I personally found that quite fake. And that really wound me up."
The decision by ITV to allow Hancock to go into the jungle as a serving MP has caused huge controversy.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said he was "disappointed" in Hancock and would not be watching.
