Matt Doherty is in talks to join Atletico Madrid in a deadline day loan move from Tottenham until the end of the season.
The Republic of Ireland star has been in and out of Antonio Conte's side this season and will be hoping to play regularly for the Spanish side ahead of the start of the Euro 2024 qualifiers in late March.
Doherty looks set to be the second right wing-back to exit Tottenham on deadline day as Djed Spence is set to clinch a loan move to Rennes with Pedro Porro joining from Sporting CP. football.london reports that Doherty's loan move to Atleti is a straight loan with no option or obligation to buy at this stage.
