Hollywood star Matt Damon has praised the Tartan Army for their lively takeover of Boston during the World Cup, calling it one of his "favourite storylines" of the tournament.

The actor shared the story during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where he described the arrival of Scotland fans in the US city as "so awesome."
