Sam Kerr will not play in next month's international friendlies against South Korea, the Matildas captain still underdone in her recovery from knee surgery.

Australia coach Tom Sermanni had been confident the star striker would be able to return to action for their two-match series on home soil but was overruled by Chelsea.
