Veteran Matilda Aivi Luik can dream of being part of a European giant-killing after her Swedish club kept star-studded Paris St Germain to a narrow advantage in the first leg of their UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying second round.
Luik, 37, was part of a Hacken BK defence beaten only twice by the French giants as they went down 2-1 in Paris.
A tough night loomed when Lieke Martens, the star player when the Dutch won the Euros in 2017, scored after 14 minutes.
But Marika Bergman-Lundin levelled ten minutes later. Though PSG had 39 attempts at goal they did not break through again until the 86th minute when French striker Kadidiatou Diani struck.
With Matilda team-mate Lydia Williams looking on from the PSG bench Luik and her team-mates allowed only nine of those 39 attempts to be on target.
The Swedish club will hope to snatch an upset victory in next week's second leg.
Two more Matildas were involved in Norway as Rosengard drew 1-1 in Bergen. Rosengard had Teagan Micah in goal but she had little to do, while Tameka Yallop remained on the bench for hosts Brann.
Among other matches Real Madrid won 3-0 at Rosenborg and Roma 2-1 at Sparta Prague.
On Tuesday an Arsenal team featuring Matildas Steph Catley and Caitlin Foord were held to a 2-2 draw by Ajax.
The dozen aggregate winners join defending champions Lyon (for whom Ellie Carpenter is slowly returning to fitness), Sam Kerr's Chelsea, Barcelona and Wolfsburg in the group stages.
