Kevin Nisbet says matching Hearts' physicality can see Hibs run out winners in tomorrow night's derby.
And while the Cambuslang ace would love to score the winner, he doesn't care who puts the ball in the back of the net - as long as a Hibs player does.
The Easter Road side host their fierce rivals on the back of a 3-2 defeat against Livingston, but Nisbet reckons Hibs will bounce back well enough from that disappointment.
Scotland international Nisbet told Hibs TV: "I think they've been on very good form, they're a very physical team, they pass the ball well, but I think we need to go and match that and if we match it then I think we'll come out on top.
"When it's a sell-out the place is rocking. I think you saw at Tynecastle the atmosphere and the fans were incredible, so to get that at home would be amazing, but it's up to us to get the fans onside very quickly in the game.
"If we do that I think it will be a great day for us.
"It would be great [to score the winner] but to be fair I'd take 1-0 and anyone scoring the now.
"But if I score the winner that would be great."
Nisbet added: "Morale is good. Even on the back of a defeat I think we've got a group of boys that will take ownership of the defeat, but we won't let it get to us and we'll be ready to go tomorrow.
"I think it's a game we would have picked after a defeat.
"The Edinburgh derby's massive, massive for the fans, for the club, so we need to make sure we're on top tomorrow.
"It's a very high pressure game but as players you need to stand up to it, and it's the games you look forward to in the season.
"We're all looking forward to it, and we're just buzzing for the game."
Nisbet says former Celtic hero Shaun Maloney coming in as manager has helped him, and he's enjoying the style of football played.
He said: "I'm loving it, it's a formation and style that suits me perfectly, just cos it gives me that free role to go and get the ball and create things, to make things happen, and get in the box and try and get on the end of things.
"The relationship is great, ever since he's come in he's been great with me as well, and I think he will make me a better player."
