Matalan shoppers have been raving about the retailer's clearance sale which has seen huge price slashes on clothing.
One shopper took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group to share their haul from their local Matalan, managing to snap up dozens of garments for their kids that were just £1 or £2 apiece. The savvy shopper remarked that they "must have saved £100s", describing the bargain prices as "massively cheaper than half price".
There are currently 1,007 items listed in the sale and clearance section of the Matalan website, with prices starting from just £1.50. One of the cheapest items are colourful bikini bottoms which have been reduced from £7 to just £2, while other bikini bottoms in a floral print and bright wave pattern are also going for the same price.

Elsewhere in the women's section there are plenty of everyday essentials for the price of a takeaway coffee, from cropped black leggings to lace hem vest tops which are both going for just £2. And there are bargain accessories to be found in the sale too, including belts for £2 and a pack of classic hoop earrings for £3.
Plenty of children's clothing is included in the clear-out for parents looking to grab a bargain, including an adorable striped t-shirt featuring favourite character Bluey which has been reduced to £2. Also sure to be a hit with the kids are a two-pack of fluffy Marvel slipper socks, which are now £2.50 reduced from £4.
The sale also includes homeware, such as embroidered velvet cushions reduced from £13 to £6.50. There's even a storage ottoman that has been cut to half price, now £35 slashed from £70.
