Matalan shoppers have praised a new matching outfit available in a range of colours which has been branded "the linen suit of the summer".
The budget-friendly retailer shared a snap of its Et Vous Linen Blend Co-Ord Suit on Instagram, where it quickly racked up hundreds of likes from keen fashion followers. One person described it as "stunning", while another fan commented "wowzers!" and someone else wrote: "Oh my, lovely colour!"
Available in sizes eight to 20, the bold orange version of the outfit comprises a blazer and matching shorts ideal for the warmer summer months. Made from a lightweight linen blend to keep you cool, the blazer features two handy pockets and a single front button, while the shorts also come with pockets and a stylish pleated front.

What's more, Matalan is currently offering 25% off selected items in the Et Vous range - meaning that you can currently nab the whole outfit for less than £40, with the blazer priced at £24 and the shorts coming in at £12.75. The outfit is also available in two other shades to add an extra pop of colour to your summer wardrobe.
There's the Et Vous Pink Linen Blend Suit Blazer, which also comes a £24 price tag - and this version comes with matching trousers instead of shorts for a more formal look. Priced at £15.75 in the sale, the trousers are also ideal if it's not one of the precious few days a year where it's actually warm enough to wear shorts here in the UK.
The statement pink suit earned a five-star review from one Matalan shopper, who said: "The trousers were a little on the large size so I bought a size 10 instead of my usual 12. I absolutely am in love with this look the trousers have pockets and it looks way more expensive than what I paid."
The suit is also available in lime green, with the blazer and trousers costing £39.75 when bought together with the 25% sale discount. This one is not dissimilar to a similar suit seen in Marks & Spencer last month, which was branded by shoppers as "gorgeous" and the "best suit ever".
While the M&S version has earned rave reviews, it will set you back quite a bit more than the Matalan version. It consists of the Linen Blend Tailored Single Breasted Blazer, which has a price tag of £59, and Linen Blend Wide Leg Trousers, priced at £39.50 - meaning the full suit comes in at just under £100, or £84 if you opt for the matching High Waisted Shorts for £25 instead.
