Matalan fans reacted with delight as the discount fashion retailer shared a picture of a new outfit which they described as 'a set to stand out in.' The store shared the image on its Instagram page which encouraged fans to pick up the retro two-piece online or in-store.
The pink, white and blue set featured a distinctive and eye-catching swirl pattern. The outfit, worn by influencer Leopard print and Lipstick, was accessorised with silver chunky sandals and oversized 1970s sunglasses.
Shoppers fell in love with the 'gorgeous' print on the set which featured a silky top tied at the waist and full-length flowing trousers. The wide-legged trousers are incredibly flattering and easy to style thanks to the breathable light fabric. The top, which is a satin pyjama-style button-up can be styled in many different ways to draw attention to the shape of the trousers.
The set is on sale on the website for £18 under the name 'Et Vous Print Co-ord satin.' Matalan described it as a 'soft and luxurious' feel with an 'abstract print design' that sits on a 'stunning shade of pink.'
