There's nothing better than finding the perfect outfit to lounge around in and I have Matalan to thank for that.
Weirdly, I've never really owned any loungewear, it's pretty much PJs or nothing for me, so I was after something that gave me the best of both worlds. I was in need of an outfit that could work for walking the dog but also work for a lazy Netflix day, and of course, I wanted it to be comfortable.
I popped into my local Matalan in Liverpool over to their loungewear section, and was surprised to see some lovely looking loungewear on offer for less than £20. I wanted something simple in a plain colour and after hunting for options, I found the perfect loungewear set.

The Papaya Grey Longline Hoodie is priced at £10.40, down from £13, with the matching joggers costing £8.80 and the large costing £11. Nowadays you'd usually pay £20 just for a hoodie dependent on where you look, so I was thrilled that this set came to £19.23 for both.
The loungewear set looked really casual but not 'scruffy' and seemed like a great option for travelling or even popping to the supermarket if I couldn't be bothered to get dolled up. I purchased the loungewear in store without trying it on and opted for a Size M, feeling dubious about it actually fitting.
As soon as I got home I tried it on and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it fit perfectly but it was so incredibly soft too. The loungewear set was lined with a soft fluffy material that wasn't too hot which can be a downside for some loungewear. In the past I've found myself sweating profusely in a hoodie and joggers, but these were nice and light.
Equally, if the temperature dropped I'd still be nice and warm in the outfit so it offers a comfortable outfit for winter and the tail end of summer. The hoodie product description reads: "This longline hoodie will be the main player in your comfy casual wardrobe - in grey marl, it's got a lined drawstring hood and a roomy front pocket for practical points. Cosy never looked so good. Model Height: Approx 5ft 8."
The joggers description reads: "Gym sessions, dress-down days, lounging, you name it, comfy joggers are a must. Constructed with a new and improved tapered fit to streamline your pins, these grey jogging bottoms feature cuffed detailing, together with an elasticated waistband complete with a drawstring cord tie. Pair with the matching sweatshirt."
I've been getting changed after work into this loungewear set practically every night and I have no plans of changing that. It's so utterly comfortable and makes me feel really nice and chill as soon as I put it on.
I'd definitely recommend getting this set whilst it's in the sale, but be prepared to be addicted, because I can't stop wearing it. Purchase the loungewear hoodie and joggers for a total of £19.20.
