Cookery fans are loving the latest series of MasterChef: The Professionals but they could be forgiven for wondering what stage of the competition we are at.
The TV schedules are currently all shaken up thanks to the World Cup coverage and the BBC1 foodie show seems to be all over the place. On Monday, November 28, the semi finals kicked off but there are still quite a few episodes to go until the actual final.

So how many episodes are left of the current series and when is the final?
The remaining episodes
The semi finals continue on Thursday, December 1 at 8pm when four of the remaining eight contestants cook for some of the UK's top pop up food entrepreneurs.
On Friday, December 2 at 9.05pm the second group of four will take part in their team challenge.
Finals Week begins on Wednesday, December 7 at 8pm which will feature a Chef's Table event at a top London hotel. On Thursday, December 8 at 8pm the four remaining chefs will cook for some of the UK's top food critics.
The final
The actual final will take place on Sunday, December 11 at 6.15pm when the final three will aim to cook the best dishes of their lives in a bid to be crowned overall winner of the 2022 series.
