An unidentified flying object has been spotted in the sky in South Dublin.
A Dubliner was left in a state of confusion on last night, as unidentifiable moving beams were seen in the sky over the capital.
The lights, which were seen in Dublin 8 mystified David Kenny who spotted the floating UFO and couldn’t believe his eyes.
He told Dublin Live: “It was massive so I ran inside to get my phone, the size of it.

“It’s not the first time it happened, I got a video of one before coming out of the clouds, a white roundy one with a dome on the top of it.
“It was going slow and then moved into the clouds on the other side, this was over the summer in pure daylight. It was like a white tic tac looking thing.
“It sat in the sky for two or three minutes. Two seagulls were flying towards it. I saw army planes flying towards it too.
“I believe in it 100 percent, we can’t be the only planet with life on it.”
It's not the first time something like this happened. Back in 2018 it came to global attention that there was sightings of alien activity in the Irish capital.
The Irish Aviation Authority began an investigation into the appearance of the mysterious objects which were first spotted by a British Airways pilot.
Around 4:30pm the next day Donal Brady reported another strange sighting while looking towards Cork city from Bishopstown.
He said: “I don’t know what it was. I was at my friend’s house and I’d just dropped off my daughter and stepped out to have a cigarette and just noticed this thing in the sky.
“It was extremely bright, a beautiful day. At first I thought it was a high-altitude airliner reflecting in the sun.
“I observed it for a minute or two and I noticed it was stopping, hovering and moving side to side.
“It wasn’t going in a straight line and it wasn’t going away from and wasn’t coming towards me.
“Then along came this plane and it wasn’t reflecting anything and I thought that was unusual.
“That’s when I started to video it. If it was an airliner you’d expect contrails and some lights, which there weren’t.”
Mr Brady thought no more about it until it was reported pilots from British Airways, Virgin and Norwegian Air saw an unidentified object over Co Kerry.
He added: “I watched the video again and thought it was something that might be related to that. I’m not pushing it in any shape or form, it is what it is.”
