Four-star 2023 defensive tackle Jamaal Jarret, who stands 6-foot-five, 330 pounds as a junior, is set to visit Georgia football this weekend.
Jarrett is often compared to star defensive tackle Jordan Davis, who’s is pegged as a first-round NFL draft pick this spring.
Like Davis, Jarret is a North Carolina native (Greensboro). This weekend won’t be Jarret’s first visit to the Classic City. The Grimsley High School prospect visited the Dawgs back in January.
Four-star DL Jamaal Jarrett had the opportunity to put on the No. 99 worn by Jordan Davis. He also got a chance to meet his fellow North Carolina native for the first time. The trip to Athens was an impressive one for Jarrett, more here —https://t.co/zm104yRNpH pic.twitter.com/BSqoCynvsn

Jarret holds over 25 offers and is rated as the No. 25 tackle and the No. 12 prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, per 247Sports Composite.
Coach Kirby Smart and staff historically prioritize the interior of the defensive front. The Bulldogs signed coveted tackle Bear Alexander in last year’s class and will look to reel in Jarret to help replenish the front after the departure of Davis to the NFL, along with teammates Devonte Wyatt and Travon Walker.
