The governor of Massachusetts has proposed new measures to help struggling parents after the Lindsay Clancy trial sparked renewed concern about postpartum care.
Gov. Maura Healey said Tuesday that new parents in Massachusetts should receive better support and postpartum care. It comes after Clancy’s attorneys argued that she was suffering from unresolved postpartum psychosis when she killed her three children in 2023.
