A mass search has been organised in Paisley today to help find missing dad Evan Reid.
Evan was on the train home to Irvine on Saturday, March 25 when he appeared agitated and disembarked at Gilmour Street station around 9.40pm.
He was later spotted on CCTV on Love Street and Inchinnan Road between 9.40pm and 10.11pm.
But he has not made contact with his friends or family since.
They are now planning on conducting another search for the 31-year-old this Saturday, exactly two weeks after he went missing.
Helpers are being asked to meet at Robertson Street car park, also known as the car park in the sky, at 11am on Saturday.
An event page organised by Evan’s friends Nicola Cook and Saira Lee reads: “We will have posters and flyers to hand out and put up. There will be high visibility vests so you can identify everyone in the search group.
“Please wear comfortable footwear and warm clothing as the search areas are open and exposed.”
Police were also out patrolling the streets where he was last seen on Saturday night as they issued a new appeal for information.
Officers stopped cars and pedestrians on Inchinnan Road in a bid to jog people’s memories.
Police believe the road was busy with cars and, despite the hour, there were pedestrians in the area who may hold key information to finding out what happened to Evan before he was reported missing.
They have urged anyone who was in that area, near to the River Cart, on March 25 between 9.40pm and 10.20pm, either on foot or in a vehicle, to come forward.
Evan is described as being around 5ft 8in and of slim build. When last seen he was wearing a khaki green jumper, a black body warmer, dark blue jeans and grey trainers.
