Mason Mount to Manchester United
There is only one place to start, really, isn't there?
The Mason Mount saga that has been going on for some time now seems no closer to reaching its conclusion. Despite reports of Manchester United withdrawing their interest in the England international last week, football.london understands Erik ten Hag's side should not be ruled out of continuing their pursuit.
Chelsea have still not offered Mount a new deal since February as football.london reported at the end of last month. Mount's camp have become increasingly frustrated with the club's approach to negotiations after verbally agreeing on how the contract should be structured before last year's FIFA World Cup.
The Blues are adamant they will not sell Mount for a penny less than £70 million. United, thus far, have made three offers, with the latest one believed to be in the region of £55m. Chelsea, though, were quick to reject the offer from their Premier League rivals.
Mount currently has 12 months remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge and should Chelsea and United not find a way to compromise on a fee, then he could run out the remaining stages of his deal at the club. However, it's understood that Mount and his camp would still not be adverse to negotiating new terms with Chelsea, even at this late stage with everything that has gone on.

Incomings
Chelsea are very close to signing Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal. football.london understands the Senegal international has completed a medical ahead of signing a long-term contract after the Blues triggered the striker's £30m release clause. The deal is expected to be officially announced by Chelsea in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Chelsea remain in talks with Brighton over a move for Moises Caicedo. football.london has been told the midfielder has verbally agreed on personal terms with the Blues but agreeing on a fee with the stubborn Seagulls remains the key problem at the moment.
Brighton want at least £80m for Caicedo, while Chelsea are reluctant to meet their demands. The Blues, as they have done in previous dealings in the past 12 months, will look to include add-ons to make a move more financially viable.
Chelsea did open talks with Southampton for Romeo Lavia earlier in the month with the Blues sounded out about how much it would cost to land the Belgian. The Saints are believed to want £50m for his signature. While interest has cooled for now, it is a situation Chelsea could well revisit this summer.
Andre Onana and Mike Maignan remain the two standout contenders to come in as Chelsea's new first-choice goalkeeper. The Blues have held talks with Inter over Onana, as well as a host of other players. The Cameroonian is seen as a more likely option to Maignan, with Milan determined to keep hold of the France international.
Outgoings
We've done a special section on Mount, but where do we start with the rest? We'll go with Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The 27-year-old midfielder was close to signing for AC Milan last month but a change in the club's board made things that little bit more difficult for all involved. However, football.london has been told Loftus-Cheek has been in talks with Milan over recent days and a deal is now expected to be done.
Hakim Ziyech and Edouard Mendy are both really close to leaving Chelsea, with the duo both set for moves to Saudi Arabia. Likewise with Mateo Kovacic, but he will remain in England with champions Manchester City, with confirmation of the signing expected very soon.
Trevoh Chalobah has been in talks with Inter in recent days over a possible loan move with an obligation to buy, football.london understands. Chelsea, however, want a buy-back clause inserted in any contract which is proving to be the stumbling block.
Chelsea are open to offers for club captain Cesar Azpilicueta. The 33-year-old, who has 12 months left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge, has plenty of interest from elsewhere in Europe.
Conor Gallagher is another man Chelsea are listening to bids for. The England international has many Premier League clubs interested in his signature, including rivals Tottenham, as reported by football.london earlier in the month.
Christian Pulisic wants to leave Chelsea and the club are prepared to let the American go. As of yet, though, there have been no formal offers for the 24-year-old, who has 12 months remaining on his current contract with the club. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who too has a year left on his deal, is also expected to depart.
