Mason Mount's future with the Blues is all but certified in the eyes of the Chelsea fanbase. As of today, when you think of Chelsea, you think of Mason Mount. He completely embodies the saying of a 'proper Chels' - a slogan that Chelsea fans use to identify a person who bleeds blue. Despite having complete faith that the 23-year-old will have a future at Chelsea, there's still that element of doubt that creeps in once in a while. His contract will be expiring in 2024 meaning that the Blues need to act fast.
There's no time to be relaxed on this issue. No matter what we may believe until a contract is signed, the Pompey-born Chelsea attacker will only be around for two more years. That should ring serious alarm bells considering that he is probably the most consistent attacker in Thomas Tuchel's squad.
Call me dramatic, but it wouldn't be the first time that Chelsea fail to renew the contract of a gem and eventually lose out on them.
