Mason Mount and the three Chelsea stars who can benefit from Mauricio Pochettino's appointment

Chelsea are nearing the end of their Premier League campaign and with that, there will be hopes of learning the mistakes that have been made so they won't be repeated again. One of those may surround their management situation after a shock dismissal for popular coach Thomas Tuchel saw Graham Potter join from Brighton.

The jump didn't work for the Englishman though as he was dismissed and Frank Lampard was placed in interim charge for as long as necessary to find a successor. While the process is still ongoing, one of the top names linked with the job is former Tottenham and PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino.

While there still appears to be a way to go before the appointment is made, the arrival of the Argentinian coach could benefit plenty of players. With that said, here's a look at a few that may find their feet under Pochettino if he joins the Blues in the coming weeks or months.

Mason Mount

A two-time Chelsea player of the season award winner, Mason Mount has enjoyed some of his best career performances since breaking into the first team at Stamford Bridge. However this season, the England international hasn't had such luck, suffering with injuries and a loss of form in a side that have struggled to perform.

The midfielder won't have just lost this ability, with a fresh start under new management perhaps breathing life into his current stint. With Mount's contract nearing the final 12-months, Pochettino could be crucial in keeping the Cobham academy graduate at the club for the long-term.

Mykhailo Mudryk

Mykhailo Mudryk was involved in the biggest transfer saga of the winter transfer window as he joined Chelsea after months of hinting at a switch to Arsenal from Shakhtar Donetsk. The Blues paid a deal worth up to £88.5million for the youngster as his promise showed in the months prior.

That hasn't exactly transferred to his time in England so far though, with the Ukraine international failing to get consistent performances off the ground. It could take some time and good coaching to help Mudryk get his Chelsea career started and a change in management could do just that.

Reece James

Another of the Cobham academy graduates, Reece James has made himself one of the first names on the team sheet every week for Chelsea in recent years. However, his performances this season have struggled to hit the heights that he has managed in previous campaigns.

With injury issues aside, the England international may need more freedom to impact games going forward and Pochettino may help him reach his top level once again.

Armando Broja

With Chelsea in desperate need of a striker to help finish some of their chances, perhaps there will be no better time for Armando Broja to make an impression. The youngster was cruelly handed an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury earlier this season, ruling him out of action, but a return before next campaign could be on the cards.

Should the Albania international impress, he could fill that void for the Blues without splashing the cash on an expensive new forward.
