Masked Singer viewers in hysterics at Joan Collins' 'deep regret' over ITV show

Dame Joan Collins left the The Masked Singer viewers giggling as she seemed 'bewildered' by Michelle Williams' reveal as she guest starred on Saturday's semi-final.

Fans of the ITV show were convinced the 88-year-old had absolutely no idea who the huge Destiny's Child star was - and felt her bemused reaction gave away her 'deep regrets' at agreeing to take part.

After weeks of speculation, Rockhopper was finally exposed on Saturday night as the American singing star.

There was a double elimination on last night's show, with Aled Jones leaving the programme first when he was unmasked as Traffic Cone.

It wasn't just the stage stars those at home were talking about after.

Dallas and Dynasty legend Dame Joan joined Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Rita Ora as a guest judge.

Viewers were left in hysterics over Joan' seemingly confused response to Michelle's big moment.

She smiled and clapped when she took off the mask - unlike the others who were all left open-mouthed.

Fans peppered social media with comments after she didn't quite seem to know what was going on when the mask came off.

Another said: "Joan Collins’ bewildered reaction to Michelle Williams is instant meme material!"

A third added: "Joan Collins does not know who Michelle is and never heard of Destiny's Child before tonight."

Another said she probably wishes she hadn't signed up.

A fan wrote: "Joan looks like she has deep regrets about agreeing to appear on this #MaskedSingerUK," as another shared: "I don't think Joan Collins knows what's happening #MaskedSingerUK."

Viewers of the show loved her earlier cheeky dig at Bradley Walsh.

Like many at home, she felt it could have been the Chase host behind the Traffic Cone mask.

Speaking about it potentially being the presenter and actor, she said: "He is everywhere, every time I turn on the TV, he's there."

Fans found her comment hilarious and some said on twitter they want her back next year.

One wrote: "Not Dame Joan Collins coming with the Bradley Walsh shade. Love imagining her switching on the TV and screaming when it’s Bradley again #MaskedSingerUK."
