Masked Singer's Rhino candidate Charlie Simpson exposed by fans over 'obvious' Instagram video

Charlie Simpson has kept a very telling silence, having seen himself 'outed' as Rhino on The Masked Singer on Instagram, by fans who are convinced he is inside the costume.

As soon as Rhino made his debut on the new series of the ITV show, Busted and Fightstar fans watching at home were convinced it was Charlie behind the mask as Rhino impressed the judges with a cover of Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars.

Other performances have seen Rhino perform tracks like Pink's Try, with viewers 100% sure of Charlie, with his distinct vocals, being the singer responsible. While names like James Arthur have been banded, The Masked Singer panel have never mentioned Charlie, although Rita Ora came very close last week when she guessed Charlie Puth, much to the frustration of fans, who can't believe that Charlie hasn't even come into the equation yet.

But, while the panel remain clueless to the very high probability that Rhino is Charlie, viewers, fuelled by clues including 'danger: rising water' - a sot to subtle nod to the line from Busted's Year 3000 'not much has changed but they live underwater' - have been very public with their opinions...on Charlie's own Instagram.

The fact that Charlie hasn't posted on the social media since the New Year has done little to put them off either, with many of his followers homing in on a video he posted back in November of him singing a Selena Gomez song.

In the comments thread underneath, one wrote: "Deffo Rhino so so good. The most incredible voice," with a second posted: "Honestly if I had to put everything I owned on you I would! Legend."

Another commented: "You sound so much like that Rhino from the masked singer," along with a wink emoji.
