The Masked Singer UK fans learned Poodle was Keane singer Tom Chaplin on the ITV series on Saturday night.
The character became the latest to be unmasked on the hit series, after receiving the fewest audience votes.
After several names including Mika, Gary Barlow, John Barrowman and others, it was finally revealed that it was none of the above.
Explaining his clues, he said Christmas themes were linked to Keane's track Somewhere Only We Know featuring on a John Lewis Christmas advert.
The band beating Natasha Bedingfield at the BRITs was why he sang her song Unwritten on the show.
On why he did the show, Tom said: "I’ve got to a point in my life where I don’t take myself too seriously anymore. I think that’s pretty important if you’re going to dress up as a seven foot multicoloured poodle.
"I’ve also become much more interested in embracing different challenges - being in a band is like living on a little island, so it’s good to try things that are out of your comfort zone!"
On remaining undetected by the panel, he went on: "Hopeless! Amongst the guesses were Snoop Dogg, Grayson Perry and a vague suggestion that I simply must be a drag queen!
"I was kind of flattered that they eventually got stuck on Mika, who’s a great singer and performer.
"I have to admit to being surprised that Jonathan didn’t have an inkling it was me, especially given that I must have been on his TV show several times over the years."
Last week, Pat Cash became the fourth celebrity to be unmasked as it was revealed he was Bagpipes on the show.
Panellist Jonathan Ross was convinced it was fellow tennis player John McEnroe behind the mask, and was stunned to find out he was wrong.
Will Young was third to be unveiled a week earlier, after fans correctly worked out he was Lionfish on the ITV series.
This followed the first two eliminations of the series earlier in the month, with Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford being unmasked as Snow Leopard in episode two, and singer Heather Small revealed to be Chandelier in the very first episode.
Viewers have been predicting for weeks who the mystery celebrities are underneath the remaining costumes.
On Saturday nigh’s show, it was Panda, Poodle, Firework, Mushroom, Doughnuts, Traffic Cone, Rockhopper and Robobunny taking to the stage.
As ever, Jonathan and his fellow panellists Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall took it in turns to predict who was under the masks, as host Joel Dommett also tried to work it all out.
The Masked Singer UK airs Saturdays at 7pm on ITV.
